Your Right to Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by PayPeek at any time. This includes all account information, usage history, saved profiles, and any other data associated with your account.

What Data We Delete

Upon a verified deletion request, we will permanently remove:

  • Your account credentials and profile information
  • Saved LinkedIn profiles and salary estimates
  • Bookmarks and categories
  • Usage history and activity logs
  • Subscription and billing records (where legally permitted)
  • Any data shared via Facebook Login or other OAuth providers

How to Request Deletion

Option 1 — Delete from your account settings

The fastest way to delete your data is directly from within the app:

  1. Sign in at paypeek.com/login
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Scroll to the "Account" section
  4. Click "Delete Account" and confirm

Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Option 2 — Submit a deletion request by email

If you cannot access your account, send an email to:

han@paperclip.fyi

Include the email address associated with your account. We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete deletion within 30 days.

Important — deletion is permanent

Account deletion cannot be undone. All your saved profiles, estimates, and history will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.

Data We May Retain

In limited circumstances, we may retain certain data after deletion to comply with legal obligations:

  • Transaction records required for tax or accounting purposes (up to 7 years)
  • Fraud prevention records where legally required
  • Anonymised, aggregated analytics data that cannot identify you
